WordPress Real Estate: The AgentPress Listing Template

Impress Your Visitors with Professional, Attractive Real Estate Listings on Your WordPress Real Estate Website.

As a long time user of WordPress to build real estate websites, I know the value of providing users exactly what they want when the come to a real estate website: listings. Agents have long had the misconception that their potential clients are out there looking for the best agent when they’re in the market to buy a property, when in fact they really want to find the perfect home, quickly and easily. These users know agents are plentiful, and although having great experience, stellar testimonials and abundant accolades is a big plus, the majority of the time a lead is secured through a listing rather than an agent profile. Ask any Realtor who’s garnered business online, and they’ll tell you they have a great way to showcase listings on their website.

Presentation On Your Website is Crucial

Because of this, it’s essential to present your listings in an attractive, professional manner on your website. Not only does this impress your potential clients on listing presentations, but it also allows your users to see the best parts of a listing without the typical MLS restrictions. Speaking of the MLS, although it’s certainly possible to have an IDX feed of the MLS listings on your website, that isn’t the type of listings I’m talking about here. Specifically, I’m speaking of the sellers that come to you to sell their house, or the listings you manually enter into the site to showcase on their own. WordPress is great for this because a tailored template can be used to display these listings. The AgentPress WordPress theme has the most advanced listing template available today, and it’s easy to use, flexible, and perfectly suited for today’s higher-quality real estate websites.

How AgentPress Theme Features Can Make a Difference

With features like a main property image, detailed description, MLS and listing data, photo gallery and listing map, the AgentPress listing template provides everything a potential buyer could want when viewing a property. Best of all, this information is simple to add when uploading properties and looks extremely attractive on the front end. All this data is entered in the WordPress write post panel, just like adding a blog post. The AgentPress theme has a custom write panel that has separate areas for all this information, so it’s easy to upload images, add MLS data, and create beautiful property posts on your site. Depending on your provider, MLS listing display and management can sometimes be a struggle. With AgentPress, you’ve got a stylish way to impress clients, users, and generate more attention for your listings.

Other Benefits of Using the AgentPress Listing Template

Another benefit of the AgentPress listing template is the ability of the template to propagate the listing information to all the other areas of the website where it’s needed. WordPress is inherently great at doing this, and the AgentPress theme takes full advantage. The best examples of this are the home and agent pages, which showcase your latest listings so users can get the important information no matter how they navigate through your site. The AgentPress theme also includes auto-image resizing, meaning you only have to upload an image once and the theme takes care of the rest. With this feature you can specify all the image sizes in the theme options, making site management very efficient.

Give Your Site Visitors the Best User Experience

It’s vitally important to provide users with all the information they need to make an informed decision about whether they want to view a property. The AgentPress listing template is specifically designed for this, and it makes capturing leads from your WordPress real estate website that much easier.

  1. This looks like an amazing Theme/Template system. Just need a quick clarification.

So you can enter your own current listings, as a stylized featured showcase kind of thing, but this isn’t or can’t be hooked up with our cities MLS system for searching. If that is the case then, I’ll still need to have two sites.

“we’re also working on a way to integrate IDX/MLS (probably based on provider) into the property search box.”

Do you have a time frame?

I really like this template and I am thinking about changing my site to this template but I don’t want to frame in the IDX anymore as I am doing now. Also, would you by chance be working on a CMS application that would work with the integration of IDX?

    • Tony-

We don’t have a time frame on the IDX integration, but it’s definitely a priority for us and we’re working hard to find a solution. We currently don’t have plans for a CMS with the IDX, because the IDX would really be based on provider, and it might be managed dependent on that provider – something of a package deal.

We’ll keep everyone updated as we go, and feel free to visit the forum for additional info.
