Hi Brian,
Your new AgentPress theme looks great.
I’m interested in building a new turnkey real estate investment website and was considering your Agent theme and then I saw the AgentPress theme. I like both themes and was wondering what’s different under the hood?
I’m guessing the AgentPress theme a few more bells/whistles than the Agent theme?
Can individual pages be customized with 1, 2, or 3 columns?
thanks,
wade
Hi Wade! The new AgentPress Theme includes improved listing templates, search functionality, auto thumbnails, and a host of other additions that make it really simple to use, but powerful and flexible at the same time. I literally setup a full site with the theme in 5 minutes and got everything configured and working beautifully.
There are several page templates available, and they can certainly be customized to your needs. We’re available in the forum as always for support if you have any questions.
Hi Guys
AgentPress is looking great. One question – It looks like users can only search by one criteria. Will you be fixing that? (or maybe I’ve got it wrong)
Thanks
Paul
Hey Paul-
Users can search by any criteria you decide to organize your listings into. In the demo, we’ve used Price, Location, Cost and Bedrooms, but these really can be any data you want. The selections are chosen on the theme options page. Hope this helps!
Who can host this template or do you host it
How does all that work when I buy it does it walk me through
Hey Barry
This template is used with the self-hosted version of WordPress, which can be downloaded for free at WordPress.org. Essentially, you’ll need a host to install WordPress on, and it’s a pretty straightforward process in getting it installed. WordPress.org has a lot of good information on this, and will introduce you to the platform and answer the basic questions.
I recommend BlueHost as a host – they’re very affordable, and they have a one-click installation of WordPress through Simple Scripts that’s very easy. Once WordPress is installed (and you’ll need a domain to use as well of course), you upload the template, or theme, and add your content, and that’s it!
